I wonder if anyone in the MonCre service area ever thought a day would come when, with the “click of a button”, you could pay the telephone bill without leaving your chair, much less your house. Well, maybe within the last ten years there could have been some of you who thought it possible. Now, today, paying online is in demand and almost commonplace.
If you use our website, you’ve found some amazing things. One click, literally, opens the window. Register your user name, follow simple directions and you are then enabled to pay your phone bill on line. It’s private and secure. We’re getting good reviews – customers are pleased with the ease and convenience of this time-saving technology.
We are also pleased to report the MonCre board of directors voted for deregulation. This means the cooperative would be regulated by its members instead of the Alabama Public Service Commission. With the prospects of deregulation, our hands will become less tied. If competitive issues arise, we will be able to respond more quickly in providing more flexibility of bundled services. While it will take a year for the process to be complete, there will be some changes in the interim. It will also mean that MonCre may provide even more services than our customers expect!
