A message from General Manager, David Hubbard
After some unpredictable winter months, most of us are happy that warmer weather has arrived. Although spring is much too short a season for most of us, we are certainly happy to put away the jackets and get back out in our gardens and yards. Hopefully, nice temperatures will last a while. It’s a time to put into action all those plans for warm weather activities – whether it’s planting gardens or mapping trips, we’re ready to get into action.
At MonCre, we know that planning is everything. Addressing the needs of our customers, developing strategies and providing solutions take careful and thoughtful consideration. The progress in communication and telephony moves ahead rapidly. Rural residents are no longer content to settle for lesser services than those of our big city neighbors. Providers like MonCre must adjust purchase dollars for new equipment with realities of economic life. To do less would not meet the good principles of stewardship.
As we are gearing up for a productive 2008, not only will we meet goals we have set, but we will also set in place much new thinking, and we’ll welcome possibilities to enhance our service. Rest assured that your board and our professionals constantly monitor the industry to see when the best time to deploy new technologies is.
On the horizon…ready for high definition television? Our research and master planning includes having our fiber optic cables prepared and ready to deliver the crystal clear signals for every member and customer. To do anything less would not meet MonCre’s long history of stepping forward to meet the future. |
