Wouldn’t it be convenient if we got accurate weather predictions months ahead?  We might have planned our gardens and outdoor activities differently, had we known we would experience a spring-summer drought.

Some things are controllable, and thoughtful planning helps to produce successful results.  Such was evidenced when we were pleased to announce the opportunity to offer a rate decrease for our members, effective on June 1st.  The details can be seen on pages 6 and 7 in the summer 2007 magazine, or on this website at www.mon-cre.net.

We are now only in our second quarter, but we are already focused on 2008.  In an organization such as ours, a five-year plan is necessary to guide our company successfully forward.  We want to involve our board members, employees, professional consultants and especially our cooperative members, and call upon you to share your good ideas and suggestions.

No one can predict the future, but careful planning guides the way.  I am confident that through team effort we can accomplish good things for our co-op.  Thank you for your continued support
