Windows 95, 98 and ME
Step 1:
From inside “My Computer” click on Dial-up Networking to bring up your configured Dial Profiles.

Step 2:
You should see an icon in the Dialup Networking window that represents your icon that you would use to connect to Mon-Cre (we have called ours “Dial Mon-Cre” for instance). Right click on that icon to bring up the context menu, and then click on properties.

Step 3:
After the properties window comes up, click on the “Server Types” tab and you should then see a window that looks the similar as the window located below. Verify that your configuration matches what is shown below. The only protocols required for dial are TCP/IP. Once done, click on “TCP/IP settings”.

Step 4:
Once here, verify that “Server assigned IP address” and “Server assigned name server addresses” are checked. Once complete, click OK to exit out and you are now ready to connect.

You will also want to check your account settings in whichever mail client program you are using. Under your setting for “Incoming [POP3]” and “Outgoing [SMTP]” addresses, make sure they are set to “mail.mon-cre.net” in both fields!
